Abstract
International humanitarian law has included many provisions that prohibit the participation of children in hostilities, but with the presence of these many provisions now the phenomenon of recruitment of children and their involvement in hostilities has not ended yet, as many children are still involved in armed conflicts and therefore it is possible that these children will fall In captivity during those conflicts, and there is no conflict without the presence of children captives, and children in captivity enjoy protection under international law. This protection is of two types, general protection for prisoners of war, which applies as participants in hostilities, and special protection as prisoners of war
