Abstract

The issue of sustainable development has occupied the attention of many thinkers and specialists at the present time, and the public today is more certain of the special importance of development, which requires thinking about a type of development that takes into account the conditions for preserving the environment and economic and social stability in a balanced framework, which is what is called sustainable development. Therefore, the approach to sustainable development has become of great importance at all levels, and therefore all countries have been preoccupied with it, and many local and international conferences have been held for it, and many thinkers, scholars and even the general public have been interested in it. International organizations seek to achieve sustainable development, each according to its activities and tasks, so we limit that the international standards and specifications organization also participate in the embodiment of sustainable development by issuing the necessary standards that serve the foundations of the latter. If development is a major goal of public policy in society, then the idea of ​​development must be in place and fully consistent with the philosophy in that society with regard to economic and financial growth and its methods and the speed with which the goal must be achieved.
