Abstract

The present research dealt with the effectiveness of employing contemporary technologies in teaching the Arabic language to fifth grade students (scientific branch) from the teachers' point of view (secondary schools in Erbil) as a model. The questionnaire was adopted as a tool for the study, and was distributed to a sample of (65) male and female teachers. A descriptive-analytical approach was adopted to reach the results of the study.

The study concluded that the overwhelming majority of Arabic language teachers agree that there are many real difficulties and obstacles that prevent the use of contemporary technologies in the teaching of Arabic language, which led to the lack of availability of these technologies in secondary schools in Erbil, in addition to the lack of use of what is available on the other hand.
