Activating the Kaizen Methodology in Makhmour Municipality/ a case study

Abstract
The current study aims to identify the steps of the Kaizen methodology, represented by (defining the problem and collecting data, analyzing data, identifying potential improvements, developing a plan, implementing it and finally reviewing) and applying them. Concerning waste collection and treatment, obsolescence of mechanisms, lack of awareness of beneficiaries, air pollution, weak sewage networks, lack of green spaces), which negatively affected the level of performance quality. In the directorate under study, indicating the directions of the solution, and based on the conclusions of the study, the researchers presented a set of proposals with their implementation mechanisms, the most important of which is directing the administration of Makhmour Municipality’s management’s attention to studying the contents of the Kaizen methodology, because of its impact on enhancing the municipality’s .ability to provide municipal services of an acceptable level to the beneficiaries
