Abstract

          Surveillance cameras play a significant role in the present day, as they contribute to preventing or reducing crime by identifying and apprehending criminals. As a result, their use has increased in both governmental and private institutions, as well as in streets, public parks, and recreational areas. Additionally, there has been a rise in their use by individuals, who install them at the entrances of their homes. Therefore, this research aims to shed light on the legality of installing and using surveillance cameras at the entrances of homes, and to outline the regulations governing the installation and use of these cameras.
