Abstract
The judiciary is one of the most important administrative functions in the Abbasid state, due to its vital role in maintaining the balance of justice, organizing people's lives, imposing the provisions of Sharia in society, and drawing the foundations of stability. Judges played a prominent role in the Abbasid state, adapting to the political and social conditions of the caliphate. Due to the location of the outposts on the borders of the Byzantine state, these posts were central zones of jihad and marabouts, where it was the duty of Muslims to protect and maintain them from enemy invasions and prevent them from trespassing Muslim lands. These outposts and capitals had become attractive to scholars and jurists who had a prominent role in protecting these gaps and preserving the Islamic religion. In Abbasid periods, a large number of scholar judges appeared to perform this noble mission.
